From Requirements Assessment to CAD Modeling: Your Journey to 3D Digitization.

Requirements Review

In this phase, you have the option to provide us with images of your item(s) or give a detailed description if images are unavailable. You're also invited to bring your item directly to our facility for an evaluation. We'll examine the item's physical traits and your planned usage for the digital version, ensuring our technology aligns with your requirements.

3D Scanning

Our team is located in El Paso, Texas, and we prefer capturing images at our own site where we can manage and enhance the lighting and environment to yield optimal outcomes. Clients have the option to send their items to us or hand-deliver them if they are nearby.

Data Processing After Scanning

We transform the point cloud data into a mesh file (STL, OBJ), creating a functional model that can be utilized for measurements, 3D printing, modeling, geometry comparisons, and more. However, it isn’t yet a fully modifiable CAD model.

CAD Conversion After Scanning

Should there be a need for reverse engineering or modifications to the file, it must first be transitioned from a mesh file into a CAD model. This process typically includes using software to remodel the file while referencing the scanned mesh for accurate dimensions and curves. Determining whether this step is essential should be part of the initial project planning.
